Dr. Laura Williams graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and has been in private clinical practice since that time. Special interests include emergency critical care medicine, alternative medicine, and equine performance medicine. She holds advanced certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in animal chiropractic. Currently Dr. Williams owns and practices at the Animal Emergency Hospital of St. Johns County.

Jena has always expressed a love for animals and has always desired to work within the veterinary field. For the past 10 years, she has advanced her experience in veterinary medicine. Immediately out of high school, she began working at the Flagler County Humane Society, progressing to a kennel technician within a vet hospital, and eventually becoming a veterinary technician at Animal Emergency Hospital where she has worked since 2009. Known as the “Chihuahua Whisperer” among her coworkers, Jena has an amazing ability to handle even the most irritable of patients.

Mendy has been a veterinary technician at Animal Emergency Hospital since 2007. While working here, she has gained a great appreciation for the high pace and rapid response of working in an emergency facility. This experience has helped immensely with her work as a police dispatch for the past 3 years. In her free time, she loves spending time at the dog park with her rescued greyhound, Gus.

Supervisor
A favorite among our clients. Four is frequently seen in our lobby/reception area, visiting with clients and “assisting” the receptionist. Four is a Maine coon cat and weighs about 23 pounds. He stays very busy running the entire hospital.
